OPEN LETTER TO HASIM RAHMAN

Dear Mr. Rahman:

In reply to your open letter to Evander Holyfield.

I respect you for wanting to take on the toughest challengers, but let's get real. Evander Holyfield is 39 years old and has been fighting professionally for nearly 18 years.

You are 29 years old, so is David Tua. You are 35-3 (29 KOs). Tua is 39-3 (34 KOs).

So you are both 29 and have both had 3 loses.

Tua lost a clear points decision to Lennox Lewis, who could not hurt him. He lost a close points decision to former WBO Champion, southpaw, Chris Byrd, a fighter that no one else wanted to fight, and he lost a controversial decision to the undefeated Ike Ibeabuchi, in a fight that broke the World Record for the most number of punches thrown in a Heavyweight Championship fight.

Now let's have a look at your 3 loses, all by knockout.

Lennox Lewis destroyed you in 3 rounds in a fight where you never landed a glove on him. Oleg Maskaev, a fighter that Tua had previously knocked out, rendered you unconscious, knocking you out of the ring, and of course "Let's Not Forget" Tua Knocked You Out.

If you are truly sincere about being in fights that the fans really want to see, as you fight your way back to the top, then let's give them TUA vs. RAHMAN II.

If you really want to prove something to the boxing world, why not attempt to do what no one has been able to do before, Try and Knock Tua Out.

This fight gives you the chance to prove to yourself, that you are not afraid to face a man who has previously Knocked You Out and not afraid to face the possibility of Being Knocked Out for a 4th time.

Give Evander the respect that he deserves. If you really want a fight that matters to the fans, SIGN TO FIGHT TUA. He is only too happy to fight you and give you the opportunity to FACE YOUR FEAR

- Kevin Barry, Manager of David Tua
