Roman Reid was born in Seattle, Washington but has lived on the East Coast for most of his life. Roman began his schooling at New York's Columbia University as soon as he graduated highschool. He began his college schooling in Computer Science, but later found a love for writing. Roman put both of his interests together to try and form a company which he can incorporate his computer skills, along with his writing skills. Diamond Gloves has given him the opportunity to offer his writing to a large audience on the internet, and has given him the chance to deal with other writers in forming great publications. Roman Reid came together with Judy Moya to form Diamond Gloves Entertainment in October, 2000. With both of them having love for the fight game, they agreed upon the name "Daimond Gloves". At first, there were few resouces available to get the company off the ground, but they later managed to come up with sufficient funds to get the company started. Everything was a gamble, and there were no assurances that the company would go very far, but with the love for boxing, Judy & Roman brought Diamond Gloves full force into the Boxing World. Roman Reid quit his job for New York's Whitney Publications to give his full attention to Diamond Gloves. In February, 2001 Roman & Judy launched DiamondGloves.com — A 24/7 Boxing News Site, Complete With Full Media Capabilities. Since February, DiamondGloves.com has been very popular on the Internet. Currently reaching over three-thousand viewers a day, Diamond Gloves is among the main forces in Boxing News & Media. Roman is looking to expand Diamond Gloves in the near future, and there will be a lot of upgrades made for all of out dedicated viewers. Roman Reid currently is the Chief Editor of DiamondGloves.com, and plans to put a magazine out in the near future. Roman is 21 years old, and lives in Westchester, NY, but is often in Las Vegas to cover the major fights, and to be with his Diamond Gloves Family.
